FlipTurn teamed up with Disney Digital to create an evening full of big jolly adventures and magical moments with a MARY POPPINS RETURNS social media influencer event at The London. Various influencers of: fashion, family, lifestyle, dance/music were invited to an advanced screening of the film.The magic began with a pink and white magical mix candy station and 3-flavored popcorn bar where guests crafted their magical treat before the film. After the screening, the enchantment continued as guests entered a whimsical reception! Utilizing festive props/décor from the film, we transformed a less-than-magical event space into 17 Cherry Tree Lane featuring: London lamp posts, park benches, cherry blossom trees, hedges, fences and branded umbrellas.This family-friendly event brought the film’s zany moments to life with: high-tea inspired menu items, iconic “kite + umbrella” cookies, and a themed drink menu including “Trip a Little Light Fantastic” cocktails and “Candy Floss” mocktails, each served in LED illuminated champagne flutes and topped with mini cotton candy poufs. A number of Instagrammable moments were offered to guests including: a “Nanny In The Clouds” 8’ x 8’ 3D fabricated wall photo op, a “Day in the Park” London park bench nook, and a branded green screen animation of cherry blossoms falling with Mary’s signature umbrella. Fans of all ages enjoyed interactive stations such as: Penguin Ring Toss, a Color Me Mine holiday ornament decorating station, and an up-close magic show.To top the evening off, each guest got to take home a branded balloon and a Subway gift card.
