To promote for The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It, an American supernatural horror film, FlipTurn assisted in a stunted screening & experience in the woods at Franklin Canyon. Temperatures were taken upon arrival while signage throughout the event space advised attendees to “wear a face covering over your nose and mouth while you (or the demon inhabiting your body) are here.” Guests watched the film in a wooded amphitheater and were given The Conjuring-branded capes to keep warm. Following the screening, flashlight equipped guests were led through the through the woods on “The Devil’s Woods Experience,” featuring movie-inspired scenes with priests and the possessed. Chainsaws, tombstones and the supernatural were equally a part of the tour. Fans also enjoyed a horror themed reception decorated with various photo ops, snacks and tarot card readings.
